What were the first records you owned as a kid?
Hmm...the very first 45 single I can recall buying (with money I received in Birthday cards I think) was George Benson's Never Give Up on a Good Thing. First album bought was Rockwell's debut album. A few months later, I bought Prince's 1999, Dirty Mind,Controversy, and Jackie Jackson's sole Motown solo album (it was the import with the Tamala label).
Awesome list!
